I just about freaked this morning when I went to start my car and...well...it wouldn't. None of the lights were left on. The doors were closed. What the heck did I do wrong?! The engine wouldn't even turn. The car just kinda lightly buzzed and then stopped. Well, continuing on down the check list, the doors were closed and the car was in park while starting. Tried it again...no dice. I remembered something about the PASS key and that if a bad key was put in, the car would shut down. But after a few minutes when I tried again, it still wouldn't start. Anyway...it turned out the little metal piece on the key was dirty. I cleaned it off and tried it again later and the car started. Phew! Yet another great testament to modern technology.
