Next Project - help with interior lights / door ajar / no show

On to the next project -

I get a message saying the driver door is ajar , the driver door also does not turn on interior light when opened not does it light anything when the handle is pulled up, or activate the dash "show"

The passenger door will light the interior roof light & floor curtesy lights when opened, but does not get any light when the handle is lifted prior to entry.

The courtesy/safety lights on the door do not light on either side.

roof and floor lights all come on also with slider switch on dash.

I know there are three switches in the doors, the jam switch, the handle switch, and the switch which I believe retracts the seatbelt. Which is most likely the culprit or while I have the door torn apart and working on this project just replace all three.

Where is the best place to get said switches? Ebay ?

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty, and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors. But they all have to live in the same box.

The 80s Reattas have a button at the lower rear of the door opening that releases the seat belt latches so you can retract them. Not a swotch.

There are 3 door switches though. One on the outside handle that displays the odometer reader and primes the "show", the ajar switch on the latch that displays your ajar warning and gives a signal for the show, and the jamb switch that reports to the alarm module and turns on the courtesy lights.

Jamb and handle switches are hard to find, but may be repairable depending on what's wrong. Ajar switches are readily available and frequently misnamed as jamb switches. Most FLAPS and RockAuto have them.

What is the proper name for the handle switches - I need to find one of them.
