    New Reatta Owner

I am a new owner to a Maui Blue 1990 Reatta Coupe. I just picked it up yesterday from Chicago from another board member. I need to fill the tires but the door sticker is missing, can anyone tell me the inflation psi for the front and back? I had no problems with the car driving it back to MI yesterday but there are a few things that will need to be addressed, needs a new muffler system, possibly new struts, new tires, and a new headliner. I am sure there will be other items that will come up but I am happy with it so far, it didn't leave me stranded coming home. I have been looking a couple of months and finally found one I liked. I hope I can come to the board for help when I start getting into things that I might not know.
    Thanks
    Tim

According to the info sticker on my 90 coupe door jamb is 30 psi front and rear, cold. Tim this site is priceless for a new Reatta owner, folks here go out of their way to help each other.

And because I haven't been able to say it to anyone yet, be sure before you post for lots of help put the details of your car into your signature so we know what you're talking about when you need some help. But I won't be much help... cause I usually am the one asking for help!

Please do what Bugler said, it is very helpful. In fact if you search there are instructions on how to change your headliner and if there is a JO-ANN fabric store in your area you can buy the material from them. Or you can buy it at auto part stores, I have seen kits at Pep Boys and AutoZone.

If it needs an exhaust than I strongly suggest checking the brake and fuel lines for corrosion. And if tires, GM 16x7 wheels are a good investment & cheap right now.

Thanks for the advice, I realized yesterday that I never had a car this old before so there will be a learning curve for me to check things on this car. Padgett I appreciate the advice on the fuel and brake lines. Aslo can someone tell me on the headliner as for the color, the interior is blue, who will heave a closer match to the correct color?
    Thanks

    Re: New Reatta Owner

Pep Boys had a good selection of colors and JO-ANN fabrics has about six to ten different colors depending on store and stock on hand. I have not seen a Maui Blue headliner so I can't recommend the closest match. However I bet someone else will chime in with suggestions.

do not purchase from pep boys!!!!!overpriced, they will not keep there life time brake parts after you buy items. J C Whitney has kits to do the head liner,I used them.
