I need help!
I can not find the wire to program my replacement 89 reatta remote. I was told keyless entry was standard on a 89. I have looked in the trunk next to the brake controler and no luck. Anyone know??

It should be a purple wire with a green connector, on the left rear of the trunk.

I have looked everywhere! Is there a chance my 89 does not have keyless entry?

Are you sure you're not looking at your '88? No keyless on '88. Look at the inside top of the rear window. In the center, just below the headliner, there should be a connector (like a 9V battery) that plugs into the antenna. The antenna parallels the top of the rear window, hard to see, as it is in the same area as the black part of window. This would be proof of keyless system.

I see the the connectors thst look like a 9 volt but nothing is attatched to them. It looks like something is missing.

Chris, will reply to your Email shortly. Meanwhile, go back & check out my post dated 10/7/05. Maybe your antenna wire is tucked up in the headliner too. Did your car come from central Fla??![]()

If you guys want a real project, do what I had to do the past couple days, and add remote power locks to a Ford E350 that didn't come with them![]()
