Pat, Go to brochures on the home page and look at the 88 colors, they show sapphire blue firemist. Also look at yearly differences

[color:"#003399"]Sapphire Blue Firemist Metallic.
[color:"#00CCFF"]Maui Blue.

(Those are quick approximations that should answer your basic question)

Also, since your Reatta is an '89, it should be Sapphire Blue Firemist Metallic. Maui Blue was a '90-'91 color.

Re: GOT A CASE OF THE "BLUES"

Hopefully this won't confuse all faster than going down the first hill on "The Beast", fantastic ride!!
[*]Open your trunk, [*]Turn back the carpet in the trunk from the right back to the left front. [*]Unscrew the large thumb screw holding down the space saving spare and completely remove it (thumb screw). [*]Remove the large plastic protective panel, app. 2.5 feet in diameter and set it aside. [*]Find the 3 o'clock position of the vertical indent for the space saving spare there on the vertical part will be "black sound absorbing" material. [*]Flip the flap up to the right and you will find a pot of gold or the "Service Parts Identification" sticker where you will find the paint codes.
89 Buick paint colors.

Hopefully the attachment is a scan from the 1989 Service Manual <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/image...ins/blush.gif" alt="" />
