    gas line

Does any one have suggestion on replacing the gas line on my 89. It rusted apart at the fitting where the rubber meets the steel line at the drivers rear wheel. This is the same place I had to replace brake line also. Are new lines availible or can they be fixed with hose and clamps.

    Re: gas line

Dorman/motormite makes a kit. It is a 12 inch piece of line with the correct fitting on one end and a compression fitting on the other end. Cut off bad line(use tubing cutter), disconnect fitting from flex line using brute force and ignorance(vise grips and line wrench. Don't break flex line.) Put it back together. I just did one tonight with a 1990 LeSabre. Piece of cake. Around $13.00.
