    crt touchscreen retrofit

Are the models with the touchscreens specific? I mean, can I install a touchscreen in a non touchscreen Reatta? I have a '90 and am interested in this conversion if it is possible. Let me know what you know, thanks.

The dash set up on the 90 and 91 are completely different from the 88 and 89. I do not think a touch screen could be made to work in the 90 or 91 models.

Well knowing GM you could probably put an entire 88-89 dash in a 90 (not a '91, the ECM is different) along with all of the necessary modules (ECM, BCM, CRTC, power supply, CRT) but why ? I suspect one reason for the change was that in a convertible with the top down and on a bright day you could not read the CRT (major reason may heve been cost-cutting though).

Be easier and potentialy less expensive to just buy an 88-89.
