CRT Replace / Repair

I have a 1989 Red Reatta (156K miles). The CRT displays a single vertical line. I have had one quote of $385 to repair the display. I live in the Ann Arbor, MI area. Suggestions / options?

Here's info for Rex service . I paid $100 about a year ago. I live about a mile from there so, I didn't have any shipping charges. E-mail them for shipping instructions.
