    Chrome rims

    Anyone have a picture(s) of 1990 and 1991 OEM Reatta rims that have been chromed?

    This is not chromed but looks like it.Its polished aluminum.

    Attached are pictures of a stock 1991 Reatta 16" wheel and the chrome version that GM used on Riviera, LeSabre, and Park Avenue. Note that the black (fake) rivets are missing on the chrome version. Also the Reatta rim was 7" wide and the chrome rim is 6 1/2 wide

    They are not hard to find but make sure you get the hubcaps as they are hard to find.
    I believe there was a Riviera cap with an "R" and the others used a molded in Buick tri-shield

    I have always liked natural aluminum wheels & think the wheel should compliment the car, not stand out from it.
