    charging system problem....maybe

Having my share of silly problems lately ....

Went out this afternoon....visited many venues and stopped back at the house for a moment....tried to leave again and the coupe was dead. Bad battery (only 1 month old) or alternator.

Question: really never paid much attention (haven't had any issues), but my volt/amp gauge on dash is @ 12:00 and doesn't move at all when reeved....is this normal?

    Thanks,

    Nic

Alternator is bad. With the engine running you should be reading over 13 volts up to 14.5

See the diagnostics page Battery voltage is ED10. This will give you a digital readout of the actual measured battery voltage. If under 13 when running you have a problem.
