brake light

The center brake light on my '89 went out. How do I access it to replace the bulb?<BR>And, does anyone know what particular bulb I need to buy?<P>Thanks!!<BR>

The center high mount lamp is installed in the upper quarter trim panel. Remove the lamp cover by removing the two screws at the luggage tie down bracket and pull foward. At this point you should be able to get to the bulb which is #1156. Hope this helps.
