Thanks for all the pictures. They go in my now large Reatta info file. Since I haven't yet had to "operate" on this item, what procedure did you use to get at it? I assume it's located behind the glove compartment?
Where is the BCM located? And are there other hidden electronic items whose location one should know about?

i know the bcm and ecm are behind the glovebox. the remote control thingy is behind the drivers seat, beside that compartment thing. brake modual, you know. i think the power supply is under the storage compartment/cassette player. radio modual for 1st gen is under center console. thats all i know

Speaking of locations......
The FSM index lists "ECM Removal" as being on page 8C-17. There is no page 8C-17. The pages stop at 8C-13. The ECM removal instructions are on page 8C-4 with a figure (fig.6) on page 8C-5. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />
