ABS light on

Now the black/gray ABS light is on. So both have ABS issues. I have the red/tan stored and am not going to worry about it until spring.
On the black/gray I am getting codes 22,99,78. I swapped out the EBCM in the trunk and that didn't fix it, also swapped the relays around, still on. It started on Monday intermittently and now is on permantly. I did tap the ABS block located on the Teves today and it went back to intermittent for about 3 blocks.
I think that it is that block [I also think it is the same issue with the red/tan as well]. Anyone have some advice?
Do I have to replace the entire Teves or can I just swap out the block, and if I swap it out what precautions do I take and do I need to bleed the unit once I am done?

Re: ABS light on

Looks like I am in uncharted water here, with no live preservers coming my way.
I went online at ebay and found the test box the manual says I need. I entered j-35592 and a number of them came up. The one I picked cost $20.00 including freight. I now have what the dealership has.

Re: ABS light on

Nice to have but nothing that cannot be done backprobing on the connector.

Codes you mention do not make much sense (is no 99) - this is from both cars ?

22 is left front inlet valve - should read 5-7 ohms on a DVM pins 35 and 11
78 is left rear wheel sensor - sensor should read 800-1400 ohms pins 6 and 24

from the manual. I have seen discrepancies.

I have never tried replacing just the block but should be possible, ABS and boost are really independant.
