I worked in the lab when we ran that thing.We Made many power runs with it with different settings. It was a 425 cu.in.

I've tried & cried, accessing the web site also...now I'll just hold my breath until i turn the color of the block! c'mon guys, ! can we bribe you with a gallon of Chevron Custom Supreme??

Can anyone give more details about this<BR>motor? "Oldgsnut", what do you know about<BR>this engine? I agree with "MARTINSR", please<BR>tell us what you know. I heard that the <BR>carbs were dual "side drafts" similiar to the<BR>1953 Corvette 235 inline six.<P>Thanks,<P>Marty

May 1970 Hot Rod Magazine is one place.

IF anyone is interested, there is a turbo-charged 1948 Buick Super sedan for sale in the Dallas area. It is in the current issue of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Auto Trader magazine. I have no connection with the car or the owner, but have seen it at area car shows. It has the original straight-8 with what looks like a professionally installed turbo-charger underneath a 4-barrel carburetor. All of this fits under the stock hood, and the car looks totally stock from the outside.
