Technical help on '38 heaters please....

I have just replaced an aftermarket heater in my '38 with a correct '38 Buick model. This new heater is complete with a defroster. I have it all hooked up complete with new defroster ports and hoses. Question is: What is the correct way to power this. Should it be on two different switches? Or can you run both 6 volt motors from only one switch. Also, is there a correct place to locate the heater switch (switches)? Thanks.

Re: Technical help on '38 heaters please....

Hello! I just purchased a couple of switches from Harry Logan ( editor of the Torque Tube ('37/'38 Buick Club). One is for the heater and the other for the defroster. Most switches I've seen are located to the left of the steering column under the dash such as map light and fog lights. I guess you could put them to the immediate right of steering column if there's no room to the right. This is my unexpert opinion.
