Rear Oil Seal

At some point in the near future I will have to get my oil seal replaced on my 60 Buick (401). Will the engine have to come out of the car???? Thanks

No. You have to disconnect the steering relay rod, the exhaust crossover pipe and drop the oil pan. It can be done.<BR>Scott

Buick amazes me with this motor.. I'm getting ready to do an overhaul on my 401 and have found out that i can do the ENTIRE engine rebuild with it still in the car!!! that is unless it needs machine work...
