Was the night before buick
This is something i wrote just before going to Flint and I thought because it was based on a Christmas story I would share it again to all the buick people out there.
Was the night before Buick Centennial and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. The car cover laid over the GSX with great care in hopes that Harley Earl would soon stop here. The Children were nestled all snug in there bed while visions of Buick's danced in their head. And mama in her centennial t shirt and I in my hat had just settled down for a short summers nap. When out in the garage came a wonderful clatter, I jumped from my bed to see what's the matter. I flew to the door and threw it wide open. The work light gave lustre to my Buick's galore, when to my wondering eyes what should appear but an experimental Le Sabre powered by eight hot cylindeers. With a driver so dapper and sure of himself I knew in a moment it had to be Earl. More rapid than a GN on his tires he came, he whislted and shouted and called them by name, now Special, now Century, now Super and Roadmaster, on Wildcat, on Skylark, on Le Sabre and Riviera, on to Flint Michigan for the best show of all. I stood in amazement as I watched them all go and heard him exclaim with a smile and a yell happy centennial to all and to all a good ride.

Re: Twas the night before buick
Excellent job. Very creative. But where was the 9th cylindeer, Reatta with the Red Nose (and grill, bumper, hood, fenders etc.)? Perhaps it wasn't foggy that evening. Or, more likely, the Le Sabre had a GPS system and didn't need that 9th cylindeer to guide them! Doesn't technology seem to take the fun out of everything! P.S. our Buicks are a 1906 Model F Touring Car & a 1987 GNX...quite a mix don't cha think?
