New Buick Heritage Alliance Web Site
As a part of its ongoing activities to promote an awareness of Buick history and heritage, the Buick Heritage Alliance has just recently completed work on an exciting new web site. Located at Herethe site presents detailed information about the BHA, along with a listing of Buick related museums and historical resources, as well as a listing of our partners, and donors.
There you will also find our "virtual archive" which contains a listing of Buick related materials, such as owner’s manuals, shop manuals, and sales catalogs that can be purchased as photo copy reference. As a work in progress, the archive currently lists reference materials as early as 1904 and will eventually come forward to the present day with hundreds of additional listings. Discounts for items purchased from the web site are available to our donors at the following levels;
Sponsor - $25.00/year (10% discount)
Patron - $50.00/year (15% discount)
Champion - $100/year (20% discount)
The Century Society is the BHA’s premier sponsorship level. For a minimum one time cash donation of $1000.00, Century Society donors will be enrolled for ten years as “Champions” and will receive the same 20% discount on BHA services. Century Society donors will also receive a special recognition plaque.
We, the directors of the Buick Heritage Alliance, invite everyone with an interest in Buick history to explore the site at your leisure. It is one of the BHA's goals to help Buick enthusiasts find Buick historical and restoration information that will assist with Buick projects.

Re: New Buick Heritage Alliance Web Site
Buick ceased automobile production for a conversion to all out war production on February 3, 1942.
After the war, Buick started building 1946 Model cars at Flint only, on September 24, 1945. It was a major under taking to get the assembly plants on line with the 1946 cars. South Gate started on May 20, 1946, Linden on May 31, 1946, and Kansas City on August 5, 1946.
The up loading of reference data to the archive is complete up to about 1925. Additional material has been up loaded but not all of it has been described and priced to about 1941. I hope to have the archive completely up loaded to 1960 by 6/1/08. If the enthusiast will email me with the type of 1942 information he is looking for, I will address 1942 material immediately. I'm interested in 1972 in general and Centurions in particular, but I don't see 1972 as an available year

Re: New Buick Heritage Alliance Web Site
Let me please bring everyone up to date on the Buick Heritage Alliance web site.
We are about to rebuild the entire web site to be more "user friendly" from both a shopper perespective as well as those in our organization who continue to labor on the scanning and uploading of new material.
This project will be started in the next couple of weeks and we hope to be done in September. Upon completion, you will see a great deal of new material, that has been scanned for the past year, but we have not had the ability to get it uploaded due to the age and problems with the site.
We will let everyone in the Club, know when this is completed!
Thank you for your continued support. JB
