Local show supporting Arthritis Society

OK, so it isn't all Buicks, but about 1/4 of the cars there were. This ran yesterday, and it was great. All the drivers and passengers were given VIP tags, food and drink was available, as well as a VIP lounge in the A/C.

Here's a few photos.

The 1918 Model T bus was an original that used to run in this area - the Manitoba Classic and Antique Auto Club restored it back in the 70s (John, was it the 80s by the time it was completed - before my time with the club anyway).

What I drove...

What Ewing drove...

The '39 Dodge is pretty much original.

I'm kind of on the fence about the '54 though....

And back to the Limited (the owner recently joined the BCA - I didn't know until I was checking out the Bugle a few months ago).

Great pictures Derek!
My camera died after I took 3 pictures of that blue 47...
The club bus was literally dragged out of a snowbank north of here, in late sixties, and was agreed, in advance, to be a club restoration project for Canada's centennial 1967.
I think it may have been completed later than 67, but started then. It was completed by early 70's at the latest.
I was there when it was retrieved, and dad took an 8mm movie of the event and of subsequent restoration stages.
I should look for it and see if it can be saved and transfered to a digital format?!?
As for the event, great sunny day and a mini Buick meet to boot. It is great to see more Buicks, 'in these parts'.
