help on 56

[56 boy]

i have a 56 century 4dr ht and i am wondering if a driver side glass would fit it if it comes from a 56 super or roadmaster 4dr ht. does anyone konw? thanks

You can`t use glass from Roadmaster or Super.You can only use glass from 1955 and 1956 ser43 (special)and ser 63 (Century),and from 1956.63d Century.

My two cents worth: the 40 & 60 (Special and Century) series are the small bodied Buicks, wheras the 50 & 70 (Super and Roadmaster) series are the larger bodied cars; being they have bigger parts in gerneral. So look for a 40 or 60 series of the same body style--does this make sense? ie, 4 Dr hard top, 2 Dr sedan-->

I also had bad and cracked glass on our 56 Super. The local auto glass place was able to replace it since it is flat glass. It mitght not be "Factory Correct" but it is new and works great.
