Another long-time Buick Club member gone

I've just been informed by Bruce Kile that long-time BCA member and parts vendor Al Bell, of Bell Buick Parts in Sarasota, Florida, died last night. Condolences go out to his wife Ann.

Re: Another long-time Buick Club member gone

Sad news.

Al and Ann supplied some of those hard to get spares for me over my last couple of restorations.

Always good communicators and fast international delivery.

My condolences to Ann and family.

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty, and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors. But they all have to live in the same box.

I just got a response this afternoon from Ann in regards to my request for a speedometer. She mentioned a death in the family but I never for a second thought it was her husband.

My condolences to Ann and her family.

A gentleman has left the hobby. Not only will Al be missed by the Buick Club, but he will also be truly missed by his favorite club - the Buick Driving Enthusiasts (BDE). He was one of the founding members - BDE #9. It was our pleasure to have Al and Ann in attendance at the recent BDE Fall Tour in Winston-Salem NC. Al was his usual jovial self despite his health issues. It was our honor to have known and loved Al Bell. Ann: Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Re: Another long-time Buick Club member gone

I just heard the news while at the AACA Meet in LaQuinta, CA. Mr. Rosman told me and I was shocked. Al was the President of the Gulf Coast Florida Region, of which I'm a member, albleit somewhat inactive. During a parts request a couple weeks ago, Ann had told me Al was in the hospital in Michigan, but I thought he had recovered and they were on their way home.

My sincere sympathies go out to Ann and family.
