56 buick 322 nailhead engine problems

can some one tell me where i can get engine parts Ie lifters, etc and gaskets for 322 nail head. Daughter drove the car hot and I knwo that one lifter is hitting.

In order of preferance......1. Your local NAPA or other auto parts store. You would be very surprised at what is still available and at probably lower prices. 2. Kanter auto 800-526-1096 3. CARS inc. 908-369-3666 they have the stuff you need, but are the worst personalities to deal with.......Bob.

thanks, i found the problem. One of the bolts on the rocker arm was replaced with a soft bolt. Do you know where I can get a bolt for the rocker arm?

You can buy Grade 8 bolts at any auto parts house or Lowes, Home Depot, general hardware store etc.

You'll need Buick rocker arm bolts they have a thin area that the oil flow to rockers runs through, at least the end bolts.
