Received by me via e-mail: The second photo looks to be a familiar logo, but I cannot place it??? International Harvestor???

"Recently I was at a very old fashioned tractor "junkyard" and beneath a pile of used implements was what appeared to be a very early car, perhaps from the teens or earlier. With a handshake and a few dollars the "heap" of parts became mine. I have no idea what the car could possibly be but it appears to be a unique chassis and parts of a motor that I assume are the same vehicle. Can anyone out there identify the car and possible year(s). Thanks again for publishing this mysterious car."

I found this car in Tucumcori New Mexico while on a road trip. Sorry about the poor pics but we were very far away. I did not stop as it was late in the day. Any guesses as to make? Note w/s shape and drum cowl lights. I think mid 20's Packard but that is just an uneducated guess.

In the trunk of a car I just bought was this panel. It's about 34" long, 5 1/2" wide and the hole is just shy of 4" in diameter. It's stamped steel but thin sheet metal. At first I thought it may belong on the rear of a 20s or 30s car...perhaps below the rear window, but I'm not sure. Maybe a dash panel...who knows? I sure hope you do!
If anyone can use it, let me know and it's yours for the cost of shipping.

Hi All:

Found these in one of many boxes hauled out of our storage unit. They came out of my late father-in-laws garage. He collected just about anything: Marmon, Packard, Cadillac, etc.

My guess would be '20s or '30s.They measure about 1.25" by 1.5". The four were all connected as if they were part of a set. They all have the part number 333043. Possibly Packard? Or just about anything else!

Thanks for your help.

Hello.

I have this Spare Tire Carrier Mount, that I have no idea what it might fit.

From it's very heavy duty construction, I would think it's from a larger 1920's era car - but not sure.

Any ideas?

Thanks for looking.

I Would Like to know if anyone has a good idea what these came off of.

The lens ia a Tiltray 10" GL-191 and says it is for a Mazda 1110. The housing itself is stamped Tiltray at the top.

From the information i can gather thus far I beleive it to be from a 1929 Dodge or 1930 Chevy but have nothing to back that theory up other than candor.

The housings are brass and are attatched to the steel mounts with 6 copper rivets. As seen from the photos the round bar that linked the two has been roughly sawn off, and i beleive the metal mounted the to bottom to be pieces of the original fender.

The bulb inside is ripled, and marked Mazda with a GE symbol but nothing else is legible.

Any help would be benificial, I am trying to clean up some things around the shop to fund my other projects and this old barn find has to go

Its been a long time since I've posted but I finally was able to renew my membership with the AACA and felt I should ask this here. On a farm that my great uncle owns near San Antonio Texas, there are several cars of various vintage. Including, 70 4 door Cutlass, a 67 Dodge, a 53 Ford, all four doors, a couple pickups etc. But only one is not known. It is probably a pre-WWII car, if not war time. And its been sitting around for so long its probably not worth restoring. But its been of interest because no one not even my great uncle knows what it is. I've got two photos of the car from front and rear, my mom is afraid of rattle snakes so she won't go closer. Please, I've heard everything from Ford, to Oldsmobile to Packard to Cadillac. I want to have a solid ID for this car. Ok, Mom just told me (she is there now) its a Buick, (confirm anyway) now the question is what year. According to her Uncle its all there with parts scattered all over the farm.

I have what I think is a rumble seat handle for a 30's Oldsmobile. That's a guess so I might be wrong. The key has "GM" stamped. The patent # is 487780 and the number 988 is stamped on the shaft. Can anyone narrow this part down to a specific make and year. Hopefully after identification it can be matched with a project car.
