You're looking at one of the nicest original high mileage cars I've ever seen. With 103,000 Car is a time capsule. The car is everything that you would expect in a low mileage survivor. The car could pass for a 20,000 or 30,000 mile car. It took a certain type of person to have taken care of this car all these years to have it survive as is. It has almost all its original paint original interior carpet headliner rear seat dashboard the only thing that was done in the interior were the two front seats. This is a very solid rust free car. Car runs and drives fine with no issues. $8500 Call Jay with any questions 860-250-9281

I am moving to the sticks and need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. I hope someone will continue my 1962 Starfire project to its completion. It has a special order VIN, and all options except cruise, electronic eye, and power vent.

A/C convertible... I haven't tried to recharge the A/C yet. Dashpots seem to be working.

The car is fun to drive. I have been taking it to work for a few months now, dependably. I installed a new stereo, a Pioneer, just because, under the seat: AM/FM, iPod, USB, CD, remote control. Two 4" Pioneer speakers replace the 6x9 in the dash, two 3 way Jenson 6 1/4" speakers in the doors, and one 6 1/4" in the back seat.

The body metal needs rust repair all around, most notably in the rear passenger quarter panel. Other spots are bubbling. If you want to restore, I have located a rust-free Starfire donor body in CA for $1500. Otherwise, I was bid $2500 for fabrication repairs if I removed and replaced the trim myself.

The top operates as it should, but the fabric is gone. I recommend a light blue replacement to make a great and correct combination with the Wedgwood blue paint.

To the good:
•	Motor runs strong, no smoke
•	Original 4GC Rochester newly rebuilt
•	Original, serviceable blue upholstery, front and back
•	Gas tank restored
•	All chrome and aluminum panels are present and in good condition
•	New fuel line installed, tank to carburetor
•	Mallory fuel pump
•	Power steering works excellently
•	Brake system completely restored (power booster excluded, but working)
•	New shocks, all around
•	New wheel bearings

Disassembling a 1948 Olds 98 straight eight engine. Found some water in a couple of cylinders and in the oil pan (cylinders are locked up and not turning), from what appears to have been allowing it to sit outdoors with spark plugs removed. However, the rest of it is extremely clean and shows almost no wear. Oil pump, timing chain, timing gears, camshaft, valve springs, even the cylinder head looks useable if lightly resurfaced or wire-brushed. E-mail me if interested. Would like to get something back for my time, but not looking to make a bunch of $$$--just want to get this stuff in the hands of someone who will use it. I know there isn't a lot of demand for Olds straight 8 parts, but they are hard to find if you need it.
