Good Evening,
I have Curved Dash Merry Olds made by Air Products Corp in Florida in 58 / 59. The car is fully restored, with the original (rebuilt) Clinton engine. Anybody else have one, or can give me a little more history than what I've dug up? Anything would be helpful. Thanks.

Well, the 42 Dynamic street rod project is well underway...have the 455 and turbo 350 ready to put back in it. Have the flat fire wall in it. Shaved the door handles, rain gutters and put the "suicide door hinge" kits in.. it really looks cool with those mods...A photographer from HOT ROD magazine stopped by the shop and was impressed with it's appearance. He had never seen a 42 Olds before..plans are to have it on the road for spring..time and body man permitting.. some days I have to "spur" him on..:)...note: I have it's sister for sale..see the FS ads..

I'm in the process of purchasing a 1956 Olds Super 88 and can't find any info on decoding the cowl tag.
Is there a website that lists the paint and trim codes for this car?
Here's what my tag has on it:
Style 3669D
from my understanding , that would make it a 4 door sedan Super 88.

Paint 3626
As much as the owner swears the color of this car was always red and white, I know it wasn't. I can see tell tale signs of a repaint. The original color looks to be blue-ish green.
The odd thing here is that the top color matches the trunk/lower color instead of the hood.

Trim 938
The current interior is red and white, but I can see where the door panels were dyed red, the dash pad painted , and the steering wheel.
here and there I can see a turquoise like color poking thru all the red.

The owner is also trying to convince me that the odometer that reads a little over 20,000 miles hasn't rolled over from 100,000. Not sure how I can prove that!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

On the right was printed Oldsmobile Supreme Classic. Below that, there was script that said Last Edition. I had never heard of it and was wondering how many were made and what was special about them.

I don't have an Oldsmobile, yet. There is always that possibility. I have a 36 Ford, a 41 Studebaker Champion and a 65 Corvair Monza Convertible. I signed on to this site to see if I can help a friend who has an 91 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible. It is a fine car but has a brake problem.

It needs "pressure switch" that as I understand it, mounts on the master cylinder. The GM part number is GM88927270. The AC Delco number is 18M873. We have had no luck in finding one. The local Buick dealer has searched but with no success. Can anyone help?

Also, does anyone know if it is possible to rebuild the faulty switch?

My friend and I are both strangers to Oldsmobiles and we need some help on this one

Thanks
