I have a 1965 Buick Riviera for sale that I have restored since 2004. It has no rust and many new parts installed like, 4 coil springs, 2 1/2 " exhaust, paint, wheels, tires, shocks, rebuilt master cylinder, 4 slave cylinders, battery, stereo system, 13000 miles on rebuilt 401 motor, 400 auto 3 speed transmission has been gone through, edlebrock 4 bbl carburetor, shocks, starter, alternator, complete new interior, chrome has been redone, and many more. I have the original steel wire hubcaps, carburetor, and air cleaner if needed. All power windows and the clam shell headlight works. Matching numbers. The car has 77227 miles on it. I rarely drive it, so it sits in the garage collecting dust. So this is why I'm selling the car. I would like to get $18k obo. For more details you can either call me at (816) two one five - 2045 cell or email. Must see to appreciate it. I'm located in Belton, MO Just 15 minutes south of Kansas City, MO. Thanks, Steve

Need new running boards (the whole enchalada not just the rubber matting) I have the originals but they are very rusty - maybe okay for patterns? Does anyone reproduce these as complete boards and/or do they cross any other GM car?

Also need a hood ormament - plastic on mine is broken as is half the metal 'sphere' that goes around it from the front.

I have stage II computers available for the 8v and 16v turbo engines. These computers raise the boost (at both partial and wide open throttle conditions) and offer revised spark and fuel curves for improved performance.

The 8v controller raises max boost from 7psi to 14psi (a whopping 40hp increase...from 160 to 200) and the 16v engine controller raises the max boost from 10psi to 14psi (a 40hp increase....from 200 to 240hp). These controllers are 100% safe, however you must run premium fuel at all times. (which quite honestly, you should be doing anyway).

If combined with other modifications (such as my BOV kit, mandrel bent exhaust system, K&N air filter, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, larger throttle body, stage II turbocharger assembly, etc..) HP gains are of course considerably more.

I also have a larger throttle body, K&N filter, mandrel bent exhaust system, and improved spark plug wire sets available for the V6 cars as well.

For pricing and availability email Rick at: rick@rdiperformance.com

Also have a few brand new (NOS) OE clutches left in stock for the 16v 5spd cars.

Hi! I ask this on behalf of my friend who has this car.If anyone could help out with some photos or any docs about this .The stuff should be from late 50`s. The point here is that he might then be able to convince the local authorities (Finland) to give the car are a museum status and then plates. Or if someone could point me a better arena to ask this.
I have both new and rebuilt waterpumps on my shelf and ready to install in the car we are driving to NC next month. Not sure which one to use.

Not sure if the brand new ones are as good as a properly rebuilt unit, just checking for others opinions.

The original has about 75,000+ miles on it, no issues, but I am going to change it anyway.

This very much sought after late production Amphicar rescued from a barn just weeks ago where it has sat since the 90s. 1st, if you don't know what an Amphicar is do a Google search and go to the club website at Amphicar.com. The short version is they are the ONLY mass produced amphibious cars ever built. Yes, they are a good boat and an OK car but I can promise you that they the most fun car you will ever own! If you don;t like being the center of attention this is not the car for you. If you love turning heads, waves of smiles and drawing crowds, this is exactly what you're lookin for. It also is now a TV star! Look for this very Amphicar on A&Es "Shipping Wars" this upcomming season.

There were 3878 Amphicars built from 1961-1968 with about 600-800 sea-worthy examples exist worldwide. I am the former president of the International Amphicar Owners Club and am an expert on them. I do have extensive experience with restoring them and repairing them.

This car was repainted from it's original Lagoon blue (light blue) to yellow at some point. Other than that it is a great example of an un-molested Amphicar. It is absolutely complete and in great condition. It has it's original 1147cc engine which runs well. The original transmissions appear to be in good working order as well. All the rare and hard to find parts are there. It does have 5 original wheels and the tires have had very few miles on them (still having the blue protective coating on the whitewalls) All the glass is original and in good condition.

What is needs is standard for any amphicar is both 1/4 panels and the area below the muffler and battery. There is some terrible bondo work on the passenger door. It seems that this rust is factory installed on all Amphicars! It will also need a new top. This car could be used as is (with some mechanical work) as a driver or a great car to do a complete restoration on. Parts are available and not that difficult to get. I can provide you with all you'll need to know.

For years I've thought that front wheel cap was a special aftermarket item, now I'm thinking it may be a stamped steel dust cap from a production car from the late 1950's. Note how it is tapered, looks like a Dixie Cup. Scrolling through eBay I've seen 1969-82 Corvette caps with a somewhat similar shape. Those are Harley Davidson WWII side car wheels with a 2 inch ID on the hub. Thanks for your help. Bob
